I offer residential and commercial new, used, and custom linux workstations and servers plus network integration with existing systems. I am fully certified in all versions of Windows, Linux, Unix, and Networking. I have been providing this service for well over 10 years in Linux specific areas and over 15 years in DOS/Windows. Experienced in Apache, MySQL, Postgresql, MTA's, deployments, iptables, snort, tripwire, and many other areas.
I also offer residential and commercial training in Linux, along with Support, System Administration, Migrating from Windows to Linux, and application development/integration between Windows and Linux.
Databases - has your MS Access database grown too large? Want it converted to a free and robust database that runs on Linux to save you a fortune in software upgrade costs? Tired of all the bugs in MS SQL Server? I have experience in moving MS Access, Oracle, and MS SQL Server to MySQL and Postgresql. Contact me for more details.
General technical support - I offer general technical support and repairs on all types of workstations, desktops, and networks. The number 1 comment I hear from new customers is that others have fixed this and it always seems to come back. Let me assure you, when I repair a problem, I also repair the root cause of the problem so it does not came back in a few days or few weeks.
Training - I have experience in training new users in both Windows and Linux operating systems, system administration, backup management, creating policies and domains, and more specific and specialized areas such as MySQL server, PHP Programming, Perl Programming, Ruby Programming, Postgresql, web hosting, apache, and many others. I offer this service to both residential and commercial customers.
Remote administration - I offer secure remote administration in both Windows and Linux operating systems. I offer this service as a retainer contract, per incidence call, or as an emergency service.
Auditing/Forensics/Data Recovery/Pen Testing - No matter how you look at it, or the words and technical terms used, all of these common terms fall into the same category - Computer or Network Security (and more often than not, the lack of these). If you need these services, whether it is for compliance (HIPPA), or to recover lost data that was accidentally deleted or lost from failed media (hard drive, cdrom, tape drives, zip drives, floppy disk, usb drives, etc), or if it is just to reassure you (3rd party opinion) that your computers/networks/data/applications are in fact secure....give me a call. I have worked with commercial (up to fortune 500 companies), residential (a few hacked broadband systems), and law enforcement agencies providing these types of services.
