If you try to install xine with encrypted dvd support, you will get an error message about libdvdcss2 not available for installation. The fix is to run this command:

Try this in kconsole
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/examples/install-css.sh

If it says command not found or similar, then install this package:

sudo apt-get install libdvdread3

Edited to include - there are some legalities about installing this, however, I wont touch on legal issues but I give my opinion about it at the bottom of this thread - http://www.maysville-linux-users-group.org/ftopict-158.html#362  Take it however you want, because your opinion my be different than mine.
