Hey folks. My DVD burner is dying, and since this is the first I've bought since my complete move to linux since Nov of 2008, I want to make sure I get the best, fastest, that also works in linux.Which do you recommend?

The highest rated appears to be the SAMSUNG SH-S223F/BEBE but does it have any problems with linux?

My system specs are:

3.2ghz Intel processor.
Sata/Pata connections
DVI/E
PCI/E
1g memory
320g, and 200g harddrives, + 80g PATA for Win2k
Dead DVD+-rw/DL drive
Kubuntu 8.04.02 w/KDE 3.4

irregardless of brand, dvd drives and burners are all pretty generic in linux eyes.  They all work the same, so if its the highest rated in windows, it should even be higher rated on linux.
