I ran into the first 16 episodes of MeetTheGimp tutorial videos at linuxtracker.org and downloaded them using bittorrent. They are excellent quality videos, made using demorecorder that I have previously talked about here. They are also available for download from the meetthegimp.org web site along with the files to accompany the video tutorials so you can follow along.
Anyone interested in learning about graphic editing and wanting to learn how to use the Gimp on Linux, Windows, or Mac should check out these videos. The author is a teacher and he does a great job explaining in detail the steps he is taking and why he chose the methods he uses for graphics editing.
