I thought I would ask the visitors of this web site, and use this as a temporary thread to get some feedback from members, about me developing the RHPSecure distribution as a general use distribution. I have started a workboard with the basic ideas.
What I would like to know from you is:
Would you use a distribution like this?
What types of features would you like?
Which desktop would you prefer as the standard dekstop (kde, gnome, fluxbox, etc)?
What are the 10 most used applications you have on your current linux distribution?
What are the "must-have" applications - maybe not most used but you would be lost without them?
Are there any applications your current linux distribution does not include, that you would like as a standard application?
What would you suggest for a distribution name, based on what I have posted about it?
Would you consider yourself as a linux home user, linux business user, linux administrator?
Do we need a seperate forum area for this discussion that is outside of the MLUG forums or do we need a forum within the mlug forums?
Do we need a seperate project homepage outside of the mlug homepage?
any hardware you have that is not currently supported in linux but you would like to have supported?

I will start this first:
I do
easy enough for anyone to install and use, easy enough to add new applications, tighter default file restrictions, easy to integrate with Windows network services (file, print)
