I update this article throughout the day and get the information from Distrowatch
Distribution Release: pocketlinux 2.0
Version 2.0 of the Slackware-based pocketlinux distribution has been released: "This is a Christmas present to our fellows: a new version of pocketlinux. This is a major change, as we have rebuilt the complete system on Slackware 10.2. We have also added many development packages to make it easier to update KDE light using the 'SlackBuild' Scripts. This release also includes the current version of Mozilla Firefox and is the first version that comes with KDE kiosktool. This will help you to lock down the desktop. Main features: upgraded core system to Slackware 10.2; replaced KDE with the current packages from Slackware 10.2; added localised versions of 'motd' and 'login issue' to the installer...." See the release announcement for more information. Download: pl-2.0.iso (439MB).

Development Release: Edubuntu 6.04 Flight CD 2 Following the recent release of new Ubuntu "Dapper" development CDs, the Edubuntu project has also released its "Flight CD": "As always, a little later than the other Ubuntu flavours, the Edubuntu team is happy to announce the first milestone CD image in the Dapper development cycle. Apart from the notable changes in this release that apply to all Ubuntu flavours, the following additional enhancements have gone into this CD images: themed graphical login manager for the LTSP clients; preparation for the Ubuntu boot splash on LTSP clients; support for multiple architectures; the first Edubuntu live CD has finally made it, it contains all of the Edubuntu workstation install and is available for all 3 supported architectures." Read the release announcement for more details and visit this page to download the installation and live CD images.
GenieOS (formerly Debian Pure) GenieOS is a desktop-oriented Linux distribution based on the stable Debian GNU/Linux at the time of release. However, GenieOS attempts to be more user-friendly by limiting the system to a selected number of packages and enhancing it with many useful, but non-free applications and plugins, such as those required for viewing encrypted DVDs, Flash and Java browser plugins, and MPlayer with support for many popular audio formats. GenieOS includes the GNOME and KDE desktop environments. Have a look at the FAQ or the Changelog for more information. Download version GenieOS-0.5.iso
